A full-floor penthouse reimagined for a young family — plaster, travertine, and white oak holding the loft’s original scale in quiet balance.

The brief asked for calm without preciousness: rooms generous enough for a cast-iron loft, soft enough for daily life. Walls were refinished in hand-troweled plaster; a single travertine volume anchors kitchen and hearth; furniture is low, deep, and deliberately few. What remains is light, and the city beyond it.
