A new house in the dunes, furnished in sand, cedar, and linen — designed to be barefoot, salt-aired, and unfussy about it.

Working alongside the architect from framing onward, the studio kept the material register narrow: bleached cedar, rope, undyed linen, unlacquered bronze left to weather. Nothing in the house asks to be looked after. Everything asks to be used, sat in, sandy, and loved for thirty years.
